Introduction

The history of the restaurant dates back to the 1940s, when it was still a small garden restaurant with a thatched roof. Based on the plans of Kossuth and Ybl Awardee internationally renowned architect Imre Makovecz, the restaurant was rebuilt in 1963after the original building, which had been a romantic dining venue in Füreden, was demolished.

The restaurant is particularly proud of its rich selection of fish dishes, which evoke the atmosphere of Lake Balaton. The most popular dishes include Balaton fish soup made from catfish and catfish patties with a turmeric sauce. In addition, the menu features many other unique dishes that combine elements of traditional Hungarian cuisine and modern gastronomy.
