Introduction
The Gelléri Winery is located in Felsőörs, one of the most beautiful wine-growing regions in the Balaton Uplands. Winemaking traditions in this area date back centuries. Founded by Gyula Antal in 1997, the winery continues the legacy of the noble Antal family of Felsőgellér by reviving ancient viticulture. The estate currently comprises 30 hectares of vineyards, the local microclimate and red stone cellar of which give the wines their distinctive character.
The winery's wines offer a unique world of flavours and aromas, achieved through careful viticulture, natural conditions and ongoing development. The winery offers classic Balaton varieties, such as Olaszrizling, Szürkebarát and Tramini, as well as Chardonnay and red wines, which provide visitors with a pleasant experience. In addition to wine, tastings, snacks and accommodation are also available, transforming the cellar into an experience venue.
Location & Accessibility
The Gelléri Winery is located at 5 Pocca Street in Felsőörs. It is easily accessible by car from Highway 71 and from the towns along Lake Balaton. There is parking available on site.
The winery is a short walk from the town centre and the surrounding area is perfect for day trips, wine tours or longer stays. Guests can also stay in fully equipped apartments with panoramic views.
