Introduction

Fricska Apartment Restaurant is located in one of the most picturesque parts of Veszprém, on the banks of the Séd stream, at the foot ofBenedek Hill, at 10 Miklós Street. The restaurant is housed in a 600-year-old mill and a 300-year-old post office building, creating a unique blend of historical surroundings and modern gastronomy. Fricska is not only a restaurant, but also an event venue: the Fricska Closed Circle event hall is located in the Frick Mill building, making it an excellent choice for family events and smaller gatherings.

Located in Veszprém, on the banks of the Séd stream, in picturesque surroundings, Fricska Apartment Restaurant is a paradise for those who want to relax. It has been awarded the titles of Hungary's Most Atmospheric Terrace, Most Beloved Restaurant, and Family-Friendly Restaurant. Our 550-year-old mill building is a favorite venue for private events.

The restaurant's menu is structured around creative comfort food and smoked meat and fish dishes, which are prepared in our own smokehouses. The menu is updated seasonally and always includes a little "twist" – creative, playful solutions to classic dishes. The wine list features a selection of Hungarian wines, and the desserts are homemade, often using local ingredients.

Location & Accessibility

On foot: approx. 5 minutes' walk from Veszprém Castle or the pedestrian zone in the city center, via the pedestrian zone along the Séd stream.
By car: there is a limited number of parking spaces in the vicinity of Miklós Street, but extensive parking facilities are available around nearby Vár Street, Szabadság Square or Kossuth Street.
By public transport: The nearest bus stop is Patak Square, from where the restaurant can be reached in 2-3 minutes on foot.
