CODE was established as part of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture program, and its main mission is to open new paths towards experience-based cultural consumption and digital education. It is an innovative audiovisual institution that offers visitors a new dimension of digital arts. It is not just an exhibition space, but a unique experience center where, balancing on the boundaries of art, science, and technology, the world's greatest works of art, the secrets of outer space, and the wonders of our diverse world come to life with the most modern audiovisual tools. Furthermore, CODE is a creative hub that aims to serve as a regional creative center while also providing a new artistic platform for Hungarian and international creators.
