Kabóca: Veszprém Puppet Theater for all ages
The Kabóca Puppet Theater has been operating as an official institution since 2001, but its roots date back to 1992, when László Sarkadi Nagy and Zsolt Végh launched it as an amateur studio. Since then, Kabóca has become a defining cultural figure in the city and the region , appealing not only to children, but also to teenagers and adults.

Kabóca is located at 13 Deák Ferenc Street, in a newly renovated building that hosts not only performances, but also community events, concerts, playhouses, and creative activities. One of the theater's most popular programs is the Kabócád Family Festival, which is held every summer where Queen Boróka and King Habakuk have been entertaining audiences for thirty years.
Under the leadership of current director Markó Robert, Kabóca operates in the spirit of the folk theater ideal: it builds a theater that is accessible to all audiences, from infants to adults – to think and experience.
