Season-opening sailing at Kékszalag PORT

Details

The program begins with a short water safety presentation, followed by an introduction to the equipment. The program following the water entry depends heavily on current weather and wind conditions. In ideal wind conditions, the team will take part in a light, one-hour sailing session on the waters off Balatonfüred and in the Hajógyár Bay. The instructor will tailor the tasks based on sailing skills, water safety, and physical fitness.  

Important Information

Changing facilities are provided on site; shower facilities are available after the tour; all equipment necessary for the tour is provided by Kékszalag PORT. We are UNABLE to provide parking on the marina grounds (parking is recommended in the area in front of SPAR—47 Széchenyi István u.-  is recommended); All participants take part in the tour at their own risk

What should I bring? 

Bring a change of clothes, white-soled walking shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, and a sun hat or cap; sunglasses, and in cooler weather, a windbreaker and waterproof clothing.

If a storm warning is in effect in the eastern and central basins of Lake Balaton at the time of the tour, or the weather is unsuitable for the tour, it will be rescheduled for another date.
