Season-opening kayaking tours at Kékszalag PORT

Guided tours and open kayaking sessions from May through September, lasting two hours, starting from the Kék Szalag PORT.

Sessions: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM; 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

The program is free, but registration is required, which can be done by clicking on the dates!

Route: Balatonfüred - Tihany - Balatonfüred. 

Tour duration:  2 hours

Details:

After a brief water safety briefing, the group selects their equipment from the boat shed, then, under the tour guide’s direction, they get into the water. During the two-hour program on the water, participants paddle either long distances or time intervals. Maximum capacity per session for single- and two-person sit-on-top kayaks and touring kayaks: 15 people. 

Important information:

Transportation is provided on-site; shower facilities are available at the end of the tour; All equipment necessary for the tour is provided by Kék Szalag PORT We are UNABLE to provide parking on the marina grounds (parking is recommended in the area in front of SPAR—Széchenyi István u. 47 -  is recommended); All participants take part in the tour at their own risk

What should I bring? 

Bring a change of clothes, a change of shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, and a sun hat or cap; sunglasses, and in cooler weather, a windbreaker and waterproof clothing!

If a storm warning is in effect in the eastern and central basins of Lake Balaton at the time of the touror the weather is unsuitable for the tour, it will be rescheduled for another date!
