People Who Write About Movies

Every era has its great critics, but there’s no doubt that we’re currently in a new era, where print media no longer plays as significant a role in shaping opinions about movies as it once did. What does it mean to write about movie in this changed era? What might be the role of film criticism? How might the future of print and online film publications unfold? What do writers expect from the new system and the reformed National Film Institute (NFI)? These are also important questions to which we are seeking answers.
