FootNotes DCO - Modern/Contemporary Dance Training and Creative Dance, Choreography >> For Upper Elementary and Middle School Students

The high school and middle school groups learn dance techniques through modern and contemporary dance training; they perform acrobatics, improvize, practice partnering, and work on strength and flexibility. In creative dance and choreography classes, they can unleash their creativity and prepare exciting choreographies for the ensemble’s stage performances.

Our curriculum offers a broad overview of styles, including not only modern and contemporary dance but also jazz, classical ballet, hip-hop, and contemporary folk dance.

If you don’t want to compete—or even perform with us—that’s no problem at all; we’d love to have you join our recreational groups.
