EFOL European Foresters' Orienteering Championships

In 2026, Hungary will host the 32nd EFOL (European Foresters' Orienteering Championships). The National Forestry Association was invited to organize the competition by the EFOL president back in 2024.

The event will take place in Veszprém and the surrounding area, hosted by VERGA Jsc., with technical support provided by the Orienteering Section of Veszprém Honvéd SE.

The competition will take place August 1–5, 2026.

In recent years, a team of 10–15 enthusiastic members—which, fortunately, has been growing to include more and more young people—has represented Hungary at EFOL’s annual events. 

The event features an “open” category for those who are less prepared or are just getting started with orienteering.
